Caveat:  I offer conservatory-style piano instruction. If you are looking for a recreational pastime for your children, please contact another instructor.

• music theory and understanding the structure and construction of music, including compositional elements
• scales, arpeggios and traditional foundation work
• note (not fingering number) reading
• sight reading
• technique
• improvisation
• performances and recitals
• competitions and evaluation programs

The studio piano is a Roland HP1300e digital electronic instrument -- the same instrument used in many colleges and universities for beginning piano instruction.  Students playing at Level 3 or higher may advance to the touch-sensitive Yamaha Professional electronic instrument.

30-minute lesson  $32.50

All lessons are by appointment, scheduled on a lesson-by-lesson basis.
Payment is due for the lesson, at the lesson.
